When should I come?

Sunday School and Bible Class begin at 8:45 a.m., and worship begins at 10:00 a.m. Classes are available for both children and adults. Feel free to arrive a few minutes early so you can find your way and settle in.

What is worship like?

Our worship is traditional and follows the liturgy from the Lutheran Service Book, with hymns and prayers shared together. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month. The service is outlined in a bulletin handed to you as you enter, and large-print bulletins are available, just ask an usher.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. Some people dress casually and others dress up, and both are perfectly welcome.

Where do I go?

Redeemer is located at 215 S Cleveland St in Enid. Ushers near the entrance will be happy to point you toward worship, classrooms, and restrooms.

What about my kids?

Children are always welcome in worship. Sunday School classes for their age groups meet at 8:45 a.m., where members of our congregation lovingly teach the Bible with lessons and crafts. Throughout the year there are also events just for kids, including our Easter egg hunt, Vacation Bible School, and the Children’s Christmas program.

Do I have to give?

The offering is a way for our members to give thanks to God, and there is no expectation for guests to give. If you are visiting, we would simply love to know you were here. You can sign our guest book or fill out a visitor card and place it in the offering plate. And if you would rather not your first time, that is completely fine too.

Who We Are

Redeemer Lutheran Church, through the work of the Holy Spirit, empowers its people to be disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the gospel, and to witness Christ’s love to all people. We are a congregation of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, and our mission is to be rooted in the Word, growing in the Spirit, and blooming in God’s love.

We believe in the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all people and rose again in victory over death; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments.

Redeemer is currently served by our vacancy pastor, Rev. W. R. Rains, emeritus, as we prayerfully call a new pastor. You will find a warm and faithful congregation ready to welcome you in the meantime.
