About Redeemer Lutheran Church
Redeemer Lutheran Church, through the work of the Holy Spirit, empowers its people to be disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the gospel, and to witness Christ’s love to all people. We are part of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, a confessional Lutheran church with nearly 6,000 congregations and around 2 million members across North America.
As Lutherans, we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It teaches that God the Father created the world and still cares for it. Though we are dead in sin and unable to save ourselves, by His death on the cross Jesus paid the full price to free us from sin and eternal death. The Holy Spirit brings us to faith in Jesus and empowers us to live as His people.
Our mission at Redeemer is to be rooted in the Word, growing in the Spirit, and blooming in God’s love. Please join us on Sundays at 8:45 a.m. for Sunday School and Bible Class, and at 10:00 a.m. for worship.
We Gather to Receive
God has promised to give generously of His mercy and His Holy Spirit through His Word and Sacraments. We are confident that we receive them because their reception does not depend on us. We receive God’s grace even when we feel unworthy, or distracted, or full of doubt, because He is the one who does the work to provide it.
We Gather to Celebrate and Encourage
God is good and gracious, and we give thanks and offer songs of praise in celebration of His love. Our worship is a public witness of our confidence in God, and our gatherings let us show our love and support for one another. We promise to stand beside each other in all circumstances and to be helpful to one another.
We Gather to Care
We are a community of faith that gathers not only in worship but also in service. As we work together and share our resources, we are better able to love our community and help people in need.
What We Believe
We believe that all people are in need of a Savior because of their sinfulness. We believe that God mercifully and lovingly sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into our world to be that Savior. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave on Easter morning, paying the penalty for our sin and releasing us from its power. We believe that forgiveness and new life are a free gift offered to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. And we believe that the entire Bible is the true, inspired Word of God, the only source of what we teach and the standard for what we practice.

In Brenda’s words: “I have been a member of Redeemer for 15 years. I enjoy presenting the children’s message one Sunday a month. It is fun seeing the reactions and comments of the children. The office of Secretary came open in September 2020, and I am privileged to hold this position. I don’t consider it a job, it’s a learning experience. Fellow parishioners are personal friends and fun to work with.”
